[allplanets-hollow] Re: New Guy: Secret Societies?

Dear Mike:

I've always admired your intelligence and insight, and I usually enjoy your
comments, but you are so far off on this little tangent of yours about secret
subterranean levels under the Salt Lake City Mormon Temple. There are
basement levels, of course, as in all major structures where foundation bases
and mechanical equipment function. But to go off on this tangent like you
have first hand knowledge of secret subterranean levels under the Salt Lake
Temple is disturbing. This is simply a blatant falsehood!

You are perpetrating a lie, if not just ignorantly passing one on.

Your bias is obvious. Blake's contention that Mormons can't keep secrets is
not a literal revelation. It's an "in joke" about the fact that Mormons are
so inclined to share what they know with others that we are almost considered
fanatical in our converting efforts. . . Mormon Missionaries and all . . .?

Many Mormons write in journals everything they experience, and early Mormons
did this even more prolifically. The construction of the Salt Lake Temple
was documented in every step by journal and photographic evidence of its
progress. You don't build a massive granite structure like the Salt Lake
Temple on a porous bass like a honeycombed cavernous lake bed. There are
building codes everywhere, and inspection teams everywhere that inspect these
structures constantly.

What a crock of garbage you are professing. It makes me doubt your level of
intelligence, and makes suspect anything that you have shared with this site.
Do you realize how ridiculous your claim is even on an engineering basis let
alone how contrary to the facts of the construction of the edifice. Some
people don't give a reality check to a single thing they say or claim, let
alone apply any logic to the idea.

I'm so disappointed in this blatant disregard for the truth of the matter. I
don't believe for a second that you intend no disrespect or don't mean to
attack a religious institution known and revered for its openness and
truthfulness. How dare you claim that you know for a fact that this
accusation is true! I poor pity anyone who is so easily swayed to believe
the preposterous, and it's fanatical, illogical mental processes like this
that give Hollow Earth Enthusiasts such a bad name. You are an
embarrassment! There are literally thousands of people who can refute your
little fantasy with fact and documentation, and I'm not talking about Mormon
conspirators. Engineers, government agencies, geologists, and a whole
assortment of educated people with first hand experience who are not LDS can
tell you that your adamant ravings of such a feature of the Salt Lake LDS
Temple are hogwash! Conspiracy mongers such as yourself are not honest men.

You play on exaggerations and rumors, and then you just make things up to try
and sound important. You are a foolish man, and your words are dribble.

Yes, there are Caves in Utah, in the mountains and other porous areas, just
like everywhere else, but not nearly as much as other places like New Mexico
or Tennessee. But just because there are caves in Utah must mean that what
you profess about the Temple must be true. Do you realize how weak that
argument is?

Do you realize how making this kind of false statement so adamantly has
destroyed your credibility? I am saddened, Mike, that you have subscribed to
this sort of sensationalism and false representation.

We have had some good chats and exchanges in the past, and you have even
indicated an appreciation of my logical approach to the mysteries that we
pursue. We have even disagreed on some points, but you have always done so
in a defendable and mature logical manner yourself. Why this defensive and
aggressive support of such a preposterous notion has won your support, I know
not. But I can say to you from first hand knowledge that you are absolutely
wrong in this instance.

As far as Joseph Smith and Brigham Young being Masters Masons, you are
correct. But that affiliation was terminated by mutual consent when the
extremes of the distortions of the Masonic Rites were understood. If you
want further enlightenment on the subject, read reports on the translations
of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hamadi Texts and you will see that the
references to Temple Work and Ceremonies much more reflect the fulness of the
Mormon Ceremonies than do any Masonic Rites. As a result of these
discrepancies, Mormons do not subscribe to Masonic membership nowadays, which
is the time frame which Blake was referring to. Yes, over a hundred and
fifty years ago founding Mormons happened to be Masons. They also happened
to be Catholics and Quakers and Protestants and Jews, and there are
similarities in all their beliefs as well! But no religion has revealed more
truth and original doctrine that has been contradictory to the teachings of
all these other faiths which are now being confirmed as true to the original
church which Jesus Christ Himself established by His own mouth while here on
the earth, with all the translations of ancient texts which are now coming
forth. This includes Temple Ceremonies and Work for the Dead, and Eternal
Marriages.

It's obvious that you have had some contact with Mormon information to know
these affiliations, however, I know that most of these references come from
anti-Mormon sources, which you are reflecting. These sources are also based
on rumors and falsehoods. You are backing the wrong horse, Mike, and you are
blatantly misinformed. I'm sorry that you hold these falsehoods so dear.

You need to use your logic and heart to see through them.
