Why does it have to be sub's? They had ships that could have traveled that
far with the needed supplies. They built bases in Greenland.

I thought that Greg was initially talking about German activity in
Antartica, in the Southern hemisphere. I knew that the Germans had been
active in Antartica before the war.
But now you are saying Greenland? I guess that they did put some bases
there, but they would have been swept away from them early on, as Canada has
a land link and Britannia rules the waves. They wouldn't have needed subs
for Greenland, you are right.
