I don't have knowledge of any study with this as the topic or conclusion.
NASA may have this information available if one were to pursue this topic.
The Freedom of Information Act might require this to be revealed if for any
reason they had a reluctance to provide it to one inquiring.
However, at issue is not the amount of force assigned to the body, but, the
amount of mass which is required to generate the force perceived. Perhaps
the moon is hollow also. We still don't know if moons are captured or
ejected by a host body yet. If captured, then they may be formed by the same
manner of spiral nebulae condensation around the host star theory, which
would generate a similar hollow sphere. If ejected by the host body, then
who knows how it may be constructed. So many factors to consider.
Anyway, as to your inquiry, no, I haven't heard of such a study, and I don't
have any resources on that topic. However, I would also be very interested
in the results of such a study.
Re: [allplanets-hollow] Kepler's Laws &
Newton
Norlan,
You said something about how the calculations of the point of
where the gravitational influence of the Moon and Earth are are
equally strong was wrong. Did the corrected data indicate that the
gravity of the moon was grater? Cater point this out in his book as
one of the evidences for grater moon gravity.
