Thanks for the update on the publishing date. The 1898 date sounds closer,
but I believe the original version even predated that one.
I have volumes of notes that I made when reading this original version, which
included all the publishing information, but, unfortunately, those notes are
burried in a mountain of cardboard files. I will attempt to excavate the
mountain and see what I can come up with. I agree though, please do not wait
for more details. I'm sure a great hunt is underway. Hopefully, a friend to
the list will be the discoverer. Good Hunting.
