In the later part of the year 1995 I had ventured to India for a three-month
adventure. During that time I spent about a month in Calcutta. The subject of
the Hollow Earth was unbeknown to me at the time, but I clearly remember an
old Bengali man, who kind of befriended me and became my guide during my stay
in that region of India, told me something very interesting.
He told me that Calcutta is the only part of India that has a subway system.
He went on further to state that while they were constructing the subway
system there was major news about a vast underworld/tunnel system discovered
that went underneath the rivers, etc. He then laughed and said that this
story was then quieted by the government as quick as possible, and nobody
talks about it anymore.
I am getting the impression that there is a lot of this around.
In Los Angeles I heard they were excavating a subway during the 1920s and
they stopped it because they found all kinds of tunnels underneath. And it
seems like you don't have to go hundreds of miles below, either- cavern
worlds seem to start right below the surface.
