It's a kind of schizophrenic crack-up.”

A Definition Of ChannelA few traditional definitions of the word channel are:
- A frequency band wide enough for one-way communication, the exact width of a channel depending upon the type of transmission involved (as telegraph, telephone, radio, television, etc.)
This is also the frequency through which absent healing is done but allegedly by channeling microwaves through the ground, which then affect our bio-rhythms, ‘scientists’ can tap into this wave-band and send subliminal thoughts into your mind, which you think are your own. Beware!
I like this definition of God: "What is God?" - hoping to elicit some sort of encyclopedic contribution to mankind's store of theological understanding. To their utter bewilderment, the Source replied, simply, God is a being who can recognize good without evil as a point of reference."

In just 35 years he composed seventeen operas, forty-one symphonies, and twenty-seven piano concertos. "Mozart never tried to understand who he was, but his ingenious naiveté was a perfect vessel for his seemingly heaven-sent compositions." Don Campbell in The Mozart Effect continues, "No matter how absurd and tragic his life, the channel to celestial harmony was never interrupted."
Edgar Cayc said,. "Akasha is a Sanskrit word that refers to the fundamental etheric substance of the universe, electro-spiritual in composition. This is a very good article. I have the I AM maps, they are very
interesting. I don't know if anyone has seen them, what I find
interesting about them is that in the last one... called the 6 Map
Scenario, it is a series of 5 maps.. (grin) when rolled out it extends
far far off my table..each of the 5 maps are possible scenarios of
what is to come, each different from each other. Now, notice that it
says 6 maps and only 5 are given... that is because St. Germain and
the Great White Brotherhood have stated (through Lori) that we will
write the 6th map. They say it is up to humanity. I like this.. it
echos my believe that we have choice. 
Also there are places on the
maps where there are what she/they call "Golden Cities" that will be
there in the future. If any of you are interested, I'd be happy to
roll out the beast, and look up where the golden cites are
located...perhaps there is a connection to Hollow Earth entrances??
(thinking out loud here ;-)).
Also, here is another good article on channeling if anyone is
interested. I realize that not all will accept this (and that is fine
by me), but I like that he (Lee Carroll) has given guidelines of sorts
to watch for.

Amazing how many subjects keep popping up, which I am very familiar
with. I just read Lori Toye's interview at the above URL.
Interesting. Suggest others read it too. Some personal
comments....
I met Lori Toye earlier this year in
Tucson. She was interviewed by Ted Loman on his public access cable
TV program, "Off The Record." A charming woman. But I have mixed
emotions about her, and her maps. In other words I have doubts.
Why?
Strangely absent from her
comments in the URL article is any mention of the ORIGIN of the "I
AM Presence" teachings in America under the guidance of Saint
Germain, the Chicago I AM movement. Lori Toye gives the
impression that all this only started with her after a few
individuals she named got her on track.
.But the Chicago I AM movement in the
1930s was THE original.
"Godfre Ray King," (the adopted
name of a former Spiritualist minister) had been chosen by Saint
Germain to be the Messenger for the Masters of the Great White
Brotherhood. Through him Saint German and other Masters gave many
inspiring DISCOURSES.
Some of those publicly spoken
discourses were published as books. In 1951, a psychic lady I knew
and respected suggested I read some of the books. I did. Some of the
'flowery" words used turned me off at first. But the more I read
of those DISCOURSES the more my inner senses informed me this was
first rate, "QUALITY" information. By "Quality" I mean
that possessing that something that has a ring of Truth in it. That
"Quality" that indicates one should pay attention to it.
I won't bother you with details, but
what I believe to be my first real inner contact with my Higher Self,
my "I AM Presence," soon turned on in volume. It changed my life
forevermore. So understand I have the HIGHEST regard for this
teaching, no matter what other reservations I later formed about
various I AM messengers. It was clearly evident the teaching in the
original Chicago I AM Discourses aimed to get EACH reader or
listener tuned in to his or her own inner I AM Presence. The
"message" not the messenger, was the importance. (That same kind
of ring of truth exists in the Seth discourses that came through Jane
Roberts)
Before 1951 the Chicago I AM
movement leader had died. His surviving wife survived continued
the movement, taking over as the new Messenger. I had no
interest in "joining" their organization, but later bought
several of the books containing DISCOURSES given by her. Similar
words and phrases were there... but to me, they seemed WITHOUT that
special quality evident in the Discourses given earlier by her
husband. Empty. Not "real." Lacking that ring of "truth" one
can sense.
During the late 1960s and early
1970s a new I AM Messenger arose separate from the Chicago
organization. Mark Prophet (at one time apparently involved in the
Chicago I AM movement, but out west) started the "SUMMIT
LIGHTHOUSE."
My wife and I read some of his I AM
discourses books. I found them lacking that magic something
"quality" in the original Chicago I AM discourses. But in 1973 we
decided to join and take a better look. Just after joining, Mark
Prophet died and his young wife CLAIRE PROPHET took over as the
Messenger for the Masters.
We went to a Summit Lighthouse
retreat in Colorado that year. Claire Prophet, like
Lori Toye, was a charming and pretty woman, a fine inspirational
speaker. But again, her discourses left me with an empty
feeling... that something QUALITY of truth and meaning seemed
absent. With Claire Prophet, the members carried on endless
repetitive I AM DECREES spoken out loud in a group. In unison.
Rather than each uttering a DECREE (an inner call to ones Presence)
one or twice, sending it forth powerfully with DEEP FEELINGS OF
EMOTION, "feelings" of Certainity, (as was taught in the original
Chicago I AM Discourses), the Summit members seemed only concerned
with speaking the decree words, all decided by Mrs. Prophet, over and
over and over again as fast as they could, racing - without
emotion. Automatic, robotic. Without "feeling." Without power and
inner meaning. And Claire Prophet, the messenger was "glorified."
Members considered her a "Saint," a living Master. And the
Ascended Masters regularly made a lot of predictions and
prophecies through Claire Prophet that failed to happen. We
eventually dropped our membership. (Last year Claire Prophet got
Alzheimers, is being totally cared for, and the movement is just
hanging on without her.)
Lori Toye... I don't know for sure,
but because she is too young, Lori Toye is unlikely to have been
associated with Chicago I AM movement people. I do suspect Lori Toye
was once interested in, or temporarily a member of the later Summit
Lighthouse, who, not enchanted by Caire Prophet, decided to go off on
her own and become another self-elected Messenger of Saint Germain.
But this time with an odd new "twist;" the "I AM AMERICA
MAPS" of coming catastrophes.
I've looked over her I AM AMERICA
maps. They appear to be largely based on what we're each
familiar Edgar Cayce predicted, with parts of other peoples' maps
thrown in (like Gordon Michael Scallion's), and some additional
details of her own. From what I perceive, Lori Toye's fans place
great importance on her maps because they truly believe the
maps have come from Saint German and the other Masters of the
Great White Brotherhood. If Lori Toye had started out channeling
messages and maps from her "inner self," or an unnamed "spirit
guide" or "Captain IGOR" of the "Galactic Federation," do
you think many people would have paid attention? Doubtful.
I do not know what Lori Toye is "teaching"
her followers. Do any of you? I'd like to know. Is she spending
any of her time instructing people HOW to get in contact with their
own I AM Presence, get their own guidance from their inner
self? So far I haven't detected her doing so. Instead, she
seems, like Claire Prophet, to want people to qualify her prophecies
and maps as important BECAUSE they come from respected Saint Germain
and the White Brotherhood. At present I don't get that feeling of
"quality" from what I've so far heard and read from her... and
especially not from those fear-instilling catastrophic maps. The
combination of the preceding perceptions causes me to DOUBT her and
the value of her messages. But I may be mistaken.
Stop reading here unless
you're interested in some incredible history about the Chicago I AM
movement...
During world war 2 in
the 1940s, Russia had become our "ally" against Germany. FDR
(serving his behind the scene Marxist advisors) decided to punish and
shut up any public voices in America speaking out against Communism
and Soviet Russia. Quite unconstitutionally, he began "THE
GREAT SEDITION TRIALS." (for the good of the country in the war
effort, of course!). A number of individuals and leaders of
organizations including the CHICAGO I AM movement were
arrested and put on trial in Washington. Perhaps only coincidentally,
but most of those arrested were spiritual teachers. ( a couple
of those individuals sickened and died in jail cells before coming to
trial) In many I AM DISCOURSES, the Masters regularly warned
against the evil of international Communism.
Also arrested was
WILLIAM DUDLEY PELLEY, a former hard nosed reporter who after
a near death experience ("7 minutes in Eternity") found his
formerly unsuspected psychic and clairvoyant powers opened up wide.
He started a national spiritually based organization in Noblesville,
Indiana. Pelley was a prolific, brilliant speaker and writer. I have
many of his amazing books (all written with good humor) that rival
anything published by other seers in recent decades. He also knew the
dangers of Communism from both inner sources and from his former
experience as a reporter...
At the same time
my father was serving as an ambulance driver with the allies fighting
the Bolsheviks at Archangel in Russia (end of WW1), Pelley, as a war
correspondent, was a friend of the officers who knew precisely who
the Bolsheviks and their leaders were. And he wrote about it
later! Unfortunately for Pelley, just before and during the
early part of WW2, he had franchised independent patriotic groups
around the country. With one of them in California some Germans got
in control and were using it for pro-Germany propaganda. Using that
as their excuse, and for speaking out against Communism, FDR and the
government arrested Pelley.
**The government
had no real evidence of "sedition" against any of those arrested
and eventually all (still alive) were released**. But FDR went
ahead and illegally "punished" each of them. For example, The
Chicago I AM movement was FOREVER forbidden to use the U.S. Mai!
From that day forth (and continuing in the 1950s) all their books
and literature had to be shipped by truck delivery. Pelley was
restricted to living in Noblesville, Indiana for the rest of his
life! Leave and he would immediately be sent to prison. Pelley
died in the 60s (I think) in Noblesville which he never left since
the Sedition Trial in the 1940s.

I want to thank you for this post. Very wise words indeed! The most
important lesson is to follow our own inner guidance.
I too have read the I AM discourses and they have truly been the
foundation of my belief system ever since. The lessons in those books
withstand the tests of time...they are as powerful and true today as
they were back in the 30s. This to me, is the best 'indicator' or test
of today's channeler's works. Will the information that they give NOW
withstand and hold true years later?
I realize that we are entering a new beginning so to speak and there
will be new information presented in new ways,,, but I truly believe
that it will be available to all.. everyone will be able (and can now)
access this knowledge. This is the message that my higher self tells
me, and the messengers of today (to me) should be conveying this.
As for Lori Toye - I bought the maps and a couple of the books (I'm a
curious one :-)) and my opinion on them is basically this.. the maps
are 'possibilites'.. not necessarily 'probabilities' and perhaps they
serve a purpose there in 'opening up some eyes' and getting some to
wake up. For me, I tend to run the other way when something is
predicted and is presented in such a way that you are waiting for the
messenger to tell you more. We need not be followers... we need to be
our very own leaders....listening within to what our own powerful I AM
selves are saying. (My humble opinion there )
I also tend to run from messages that are fear based, ones that say
"this is a safe place to live" etc. We are just beginning to realize
that we are very powerful creators and the possiblities are endless..
and this to me means that we can make choices for the better.. not the
worse.
Thank you for the history on the Chicago I AM group. This confirmed
alot for me.. I could never read the Prophet stuff...like you, it did
not hold the power that the discourses hold and there seemed (to me)
to be an element of control there. It seemed like a "follow me" type
of deal. I can't remember the complete details and correct me if I am
wrong here.. but I was told a number of years ago that The Summit
Lighthouse group basically "stole" the copyrights to some of the I AM
books because of some legal loophole??
