The thing to remember is that often A GOOD BIT OF
DISINFORMATION WILL BE MIXED WITH THE TRUTH IN
ORDER TO DISCREDIT IT, or to make it seem ridiculous,
fanciful, etc. This is an old intelligence trick, and is used by the
various intelligence agencies all the time. It's still being used in
regard to UFOs and anomalous planetary stuff today.
I think the opposite is true and a fraction of truth is wrapped up in pure
fantasy and disinformation to make it seem incredulous, watch Spielberg turn
the 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' into an entertaining
'impossibility.' Even now, if you mention 'Venusians' it's met with a
belly-laugh. A very effective method of making us censor ourselves, for fear
of humiliation amongst our peers. OK, stop laughing now...Hazel.
